After years of patient restoration, The Woolworth Building will once again be a place to gather, celebrate, and make memories. Its return begins with a block party of music, food, and community in downtown Bakersfield. This event is free and open to all.

The afternoon will begin with jazz and culminate in live performances from local choirs, musicians, and community voices. The ribbon cutting will honor both the building’s history and its new chapter as a place for connection, creativity, and shared stories.
