Bakersfield Fire Department Memorial Ceremony

The Bakersfield Fire Department will host its annual ceremony, which is open to the public. 

• Where: Fire Station 15, 1315 Buena Vista Road.
• When: 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
• Details: The event will feature a special memorial area containing a steel girder from one of the Twin Towers. The site also includes a Pentagon-shaped foundation and a survivor tree grown from a sapling of the last living tree at the World Trade Center

  Memorial tour at Fire Station 15
  
  In addition to the ceremony, the Bakersfield Fire Department will offer a special public tour of the 9/11 memorial at Station 15.
