We have some great farmer's markets in Kern County, and this is another one. Give your whole family the gift of fresh fruits, vegetables, and homemade goodies. Drive up the hill for some amazing finds on Saturdays.

Onyx Family Farms (300 Doyle Ranch Rd, Onyx)

9AM-4PM

Locally grown fruits and vegetables, no chemicals used, just veggies grown the old fashioned way. We use water from the South Fork of the Kern River and grow in a lovely silty loam alluvium. Grab your friends and drive up the hill for a great afternoon in the Kern River Valley, where your children can pet the local animals and sit at a picnic table to eat.

Murray Family Farms (6700 General Beale Rd, Bakersfield)

8AM-8PM

Come by Murray Family Farm and have fun picking your own fresh and local fruit! There's also a petting zoo, hay rides, Corn Cannons, Barnyard Ball Toss, Bounce Pillow, Slide N'Ride and an Animal Train.

Haggin Oaks Farmer’s Market (8800 Ming Ave, Bakersfield)

9AM-2PM

The Haggin Oaks Farmers Market is the place to be. Check out the best selection of seasonal and fresh vegetables, fruit, local honey, eggs, hummus, and just about everything.
