Keep Kern Roads Clean
May 01, 2015
Help keep Kern County's roads clean and free from trash. As part of the Keep Kern Roads Clean program, individuals, organizations, and businesses can volunteer to clean-up sections of roadside within Kern County’s Road System. From Lost Hills to Boron; Shafter to Frazier Park; Lamont to Inyokern; flyaway trash, tossed-out litter and illegal dumping plague our roadways. The Keep Kern Roads Clean program is our way to fight back and take back the place we call home. This is a joint program of the Kern County Roads Department, the Kern County Waste Management Department and the nonprofit environmental organization Community Clean Sweep. To sign up, call 862-8850 or visit co.kern.ca.us/kkrc.
