NAMI Kern County will be offering a FREE Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Training for young adults, 18-26 years old. There will be two sessions: Cohort 12 is October 4 - 20, and Cohort 13 is November 1-20, 4:30-8:30pm, Monday - Friday. The Training consists of 52 hours of live attendance and 28 hours of homework & support. Individuals would receive followup support, career counseling and career placement.
