In celebration of Bike Month, Kern County Public Works along with Bike Bakersfield is hosting a “Bike Kern Scavenger Hunt” throughout the month of May.

This virtual scavenger hunt invites participants to use active transportation to explore their neighborhoods and county/city areas while searching for tasks and assignments to complete on their mobile devices.

First go to BikeKernCounty2022.eventbrite.com to register, sign up for an English or Spanish Hunt, and to receive an email with the hunt access code. Next, download the Scavify app on your mobile phone, check out your email for the welcome package, and then play to win! Bicycle prizes will be awarded to those who complete the tasks/challenges on the
scavenger.

All participants will be eligible to win an e-bike donated by Pedego. The first 75 participants will receive a free tire patch and tire tool kit to take on your ride!
